Vitamin D3 and K2 play synergistic roles in the body to support bone mineral density and everyday immune, muscle, joint, heart and artery health.

Vitamin K is a fat-soluble vitamin essential for the functioning of several proteins involved in blood clotting. Vitamin K exists in two major forms: phylloquinone (K1) and the menaquinones (K2).

Phylloquinone, designated as vitamin K1, is the major dietary form in food.

Menaquinones are designated as vitamin K2 and are named MK-4 and MK-7, according to the length of structurally related molecular side chains attached to the parent molecule.

K2 is an essential co-factor in vitamin D metabolism and is thought to play an important part in supporting the deposit of calcium to our bones rather than arteries.

Our Vitamin K2 (MK-7) is produced via fermentation using Bacillus subtilis (natto fermentation) and the finished material is considered natto-derived.

The product is tested to USP standards for identity, purity, heavy metals, and microbiological safety to ensure quality and consistency.
